Additional Bio:
1988 - Established a RI chapter of the Boston based
Professional Musicians Support Group, a support system for female
musicians.
1989-1994 - Worked as Music Director with the substance
abuse awareness theatre company, IMP-ACT, in shows throughout New
England.
1991 - Organized and performed in concert to benefit
The RI Animal Rights Coalition.
1991 - Began teaching piano and voice studies at
The Music School, Providence, RI.
1995 - Designed and established two courses taught
through The Providence Learning Connection and The Music School:
'Putting together your nightclub act,' and 'Practical skills for
the vocal performer.'
1996 - Presents & specializes in the music of Brazilian
songwriter, Antonio Carlos Jobim.
2001 - Receives training for the world renowned teaching
method of Suzuki piano, which promotes early music education, learning
to play by ear, with nurturing and positive reinforcement through
small achievable steps, affirming the idea that every person has
the ability to develop musical talent if given the proper tools
in the proper setting.
